Best Practices
Storage: Store in tightly closed containers designed
for light sensitive material . Store product indoors at temperatures above 0C/32F
and below 38C/100F. Avoid prolonged storage temperatures above 38C/100F.
Protection: Always use protective eyewear and gloves when
handling liquid resin and cleaning up newly created objects.
Use: If resin has sat for an extended time, shake
thoroughly before use to ensure pigment is well dispersed, allow 5-10 minutes
before pouring for air bubbles to dissipate.
When returning unused resin from the vat back into the container, use a painter's
disposable "filter funnel" to remove any cured "debris"
that might be in the liquid.
Part
Cleanup: After the part has been detached from the
build platform clean remove any uncured resin by rinsing in Isopropyl alcohol ("rubbing alcohol").
Vat
Cleanup: After removing unused resin (see above), the
vat may be rinsed clean with Isopropyl alcohol.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or drying clothes (such as paper towels) on
the PDMS coating to avoid damage (scratches or tears).
Post
Cure: To reach best properties the newly created object
should be post cured by placing in direct sunlight for several hours.
